About this project
Club activities make space for learning from guest speakers and local institutions. These accounts bring together visits and discussions documented from 2021 to 2025. The Corona pandemic had an impact on the aviation industry Published November 16, 2021 Lufthansa pilot Bob Kuborn spoke to the club about the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on aviation and the industry’s recovery. The club thanked him for sharing his professional perspective. Exploring the Heart of European Justice Published October 11, 2023 Rotaract members visited the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg with support from their mentor Erika. The visit offered an opportunity to learn about the institution and reflect on European cooperation, law and justice. Conference : Finding joy and meaning in your professional life Published January 11, 2025 The club archive describes an evening at Hôtel Le Place d’Armes about meaning and fulfilment at work. A discussion and a practical fifteen minute workshop invited participants to explore professional growth and satisfaction. Dinner provided time for further conversation. Event Recap: Exploring Rotary’s Core Values Published February 12, 2025 On 11 February 2025, René Friederici and Georges Thielen spoke to the club about Rotary values and their role in service, society and professional life. Participants discussed how those principles can guide practical action. The evening continued with dinner and conversation at Flûte Alors!.
